Our framework curates the best ideas for implementation.
At Iris, our iNovus platform reflects that spirit. It encourages ground-up innovation from all Irisians, instead of a centralized, top-down approach. As Iris Managing Director Anil Apte once said, “Let a thousand flowers bloom.” Indeed, iNovus is fostering a thousand ideas to bloom.
Many Irisians have a deep understanding of the business and operational contexts of client engagements and have their own ideas to solve the challenges they face in their projects. Built around design thinking principles, iNovus provides the framework and resources to bring the best of those ideas to fruition.
At last count, iNovus had helped generate nearly 650 ideas, of which 84 have been successfully implemented to realize a combined impact of about $8 million in savings for Iris and its clients. Another 155 ideas are in implementation. Significantly, clients generated more than 50 of those ideas.
Every idea gets a fair shot at being implemented. Innovation Champions vet all ideas, and workable ideas get specific resources such as program management, technical tools, and marketing & communications.
Workable ideas score on some or all of these: Benefits to clients or Iris; Reusability to be applied to multiple contexts; Easy to implement; Cost-effective; and allows Quick time-to-market.
