What does being an Irisian mean to you?Being an Irisian means being part of a true family. Iris, more than any other place I’ve worked at, feels like home. It’s a supportive, caring environment where people genuinely look out for each other, celebrate successes, and grow together.
Share a moment when Iris’s values were truly lived.During the peak of COVID, the team demonstrated outstanding ‘Collaboration.’ People across locations, roles, and time zones came together pooling ideas, and stepping in to cover colleagues facing personal challenges. Senior members mentored juniors remotely, cross-functional teams quickly adapted processes, and everyone communicated struggles and solutions without hesitation. Leadership amplified this by providing flexible policies, mental health support, and trust in our ability to self-organize.
How has Iris helped shape your personal or professional growth?Iris has shaped my growth in ways I never expected. The opportunities, mentorship, and challenging projects helped me rise to the position of Team Lead. What makes this growth even more meaningful is Iris’s superb work-life balance, culture-flexible hours, genuine respect for personal time, and support that lets me be fully present both at work and at home with my family. Iris has built both my skills and my ability to handle life’s plot twists without burning out.
What advice would you give to future Irisians?Dive in with full ownership, treat every task as your own. Seek feedback, collaborate openly, and keep learning aggressively. The environment rewards those who step up, so embrace challenges boldly (and maybe keep snacks handy for late-night debugging sessions).
What excites you most about Iris’s future?Iris’s future is its strong focus on employee learning/growth and remarkable adaptiveness. Staying people-centric while evolving with emerging technologies like AI and cloud keeps us innovative and relevant.
