What inspired the founding of Iris, and what were the earliest challenges?Iris was founded on a simple truth: When IT Matters Most, We Deliver. I started as a system engineer 20 years ago. Our earliest challenge was building the resilient infrastructure necessary to empower our software development teams to code without limits.
What pivotal decisions or moments defined Iris’s trajectory? The moment we moved from maintaining systems to enabling developers was the time our trajectory changed.
We evolved from physical servers to strategic virtualized /cloud environments managed by our IT Team. This ensured our developers have the tools/environment to deliver successful projects seamlessly and drive consistent client satisfaction.
How has Iris’s purpose evolved over time?Iris’s purpose has shifted from “building software” to securing success for our clients. Over the last two decades, we have ensured that our infrastructure is supported by a robust, compliant, and resilient environment that empowers our teams.
What does being an Irisian mean to you?For 20 years, Iris has been more than a workplace; it has been a family. Being an Irisian means carrying forward a legacy of resilience, collaboration, and impact in IT services and operations.
Share a moment when Iris’s values were truly lived. When the pandemic struck, our mission became ensuring uninterrupted IT operations for our clients. The adaptability, empathy, and dedication shown by the team embodied Iris’s values in their purest form.
What advice would you give to future Irisians?Never stop learning. Technology will change but your curiosity and adaptability will define your success as an Irisian.
What excites you most about Iris’s future? What excites me most about Iris’s future is using new technologies like cloud, AI, and automation to make IT services and data center operations smarter and stronger.
