What inspired the founding of Iris, and what were the earliest challenges?Iris’s story begins in the most iconic startup fashion, three visionary chartered accountants, and a humble garage in Delhi. No fancy infrastructure, no deep pockets – just courage, conviction, and clarity of purpose.
What pivotal decisions or moments defined Iris’s trajectory?A real inflection point was the bold expansion into the U.S. under Sanjiv’s leadership, after establishing a strong base in India. Partnering closely with Sunil, this move fast-tracked Iris’s global growth and market presence. Meanwhile, Anil led and held the fort firmly in India, ensuring strength at the core while the organization scaled globally. That balance – global ambition with local solidity – was powerful.
How has Iris’s purpose evolved over time?What began as a mission to deliver high-quality professional and technology services now goes beyond business metrics; it’s about employee growth, client value creation, continuous learning, and nurturing a culture built on trust, ownership, and pride.
